Child Safety Standards

Brolo - Gay Dating & Hangouts is an adults-only (18+) application. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out the standards we maintain to prevent, detect, and respond to it, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards Policy and applicable law.

Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

Brolo strictly prohibits any content, conduct, or communication that sexualises, exploits, endangers, or otherwise harms minors. This includes CSAM, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any attempt to use the service to facilitate harm to a child. Violations result in immediate removal of content, permanent account termination, preservation of evidence, and reporting to the relevant authorities.

Adults only — 18+

Brolo is intended solely for adults aged 18 and over. Users must confirm they are 18+ to create an account, and the app is rated and distributed for mature audiences only. Accounts we identify as belonging to, or being operated on behalf of, anyone under 18 are removed.

Prevention and moderation

  • Every profile photo is screened by automated AI moderation before it becomes visible.
  • Selfie verification helps confirm that users are real adults and not impersonators or bots.
  • Profiles, messages, and media flagged by our systems or by users are reviewed, and confirmed violations are actioned.
  • We retain the ability to re-scan previously uploaded content as our detection improves.

In-app reporting

Every user can report a profile, message, or piece of content directly inside the app, and can block any user at any time. Reports of suspected child safety concerns are prioritised. Reports can also be sent to us by email at info@bth-bv.eu.

Reporting to authorities

Where we become aware of apparent CSAM or a credible threat to a child, we remove the content, preserve relevant data, and report to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or competent law-enforcement and national authorities, as required by applicable law. We comply with all relevant child safety laws in the jurisdictions where Brolo is available.

Designated point of contact

Our designated child-safety point of contact can be reached at info@bth-bv.eu. This contact is able to speak to our CSAM-prevention practices and compliance.

These standards apply to Brolo - Gay Dating & Hangouts and are published by the app's developer. They are reviewed and updated as our policies and applicable law evolve.
